Senior Accountant

Accountants One was hired to help a thriving, established company to recruit a Senior Accountant. The company offers a great combination of stability and career advancement.  They have over 60 years in business and recently were acquired by a private equity firm with plans to expand.  This role has built-in advancement opportunity to Manager or Controller.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with month-end close and production of Financial Statements
• Assist with cost accounting in a job cost environment, tracking labor and material costs for each specific project
• Assist with cashflow projects and cash management
• Reconcile bank accounts, verify deposits, and addresses inquiries from banks.
• Work with operations closely for inventory accounting and purchasing
• Full-Cycle Accounts Payable including coding and entering invoices
• Full-Cycle Accounts Receivable including billing, cash apps, and collections
• Other duties and special projects as assigned

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 3+ years of full-cycle, general accounting experience
• Project Accounting or Job Cost experience a plus
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Ability to multitask
• Strong customer service focus, “how can I help today” attitude
