Accountants One is working with a manufacturing client to help them hire a Senior Accountant.  This role will focus heavily on General Ledger work and cost / inventory / accounting.  This is a great time to join as they have new ownership and looking to expand the business.  This role will report directly to the CFO and offers the chance to move into a management role, directing the Staff Accountant and A/P Specialist.  The CFO has a very successful career and will be excellent to work for and learn from as you move forward.

Job Duties:

• Lead the month-end close, journal entries and producing financial statements
• Perform variance analysis and forecasting for monthly financial package
• Handle cost accounting and reporting
• Perform cash application and maintain A/R Aging
• Assist with banking transactions, bank reconciliations
• Assist with technical research for complex accounting issues
• Assist with audits

Job Requirements:

• Accounting or Finance degree
• Four or more years of accounting experience
• Advance Excel and strong ERP experience
• Financial modeling experience preferred
