Accountants One is working with a growing Real Estate Company in the Metro Atlanta area adding to the team a Development Accountant. This is someone who will get mentorship and growth. The company supports development in individuals and will help them with obtaining CPA. This is an in-office role for 6 months of training and will offer one day remote after that it's 4 days in office.

The Development Accountant will handle the following:

• Responsible for monthly financial statements, analysis, cash flow analysis and reconciliations for the various properties
• Will be the contact for any accounting questions from the property managers
• Monthly owner reports
• Review weekly A/P aging and cash position send the information to operations
• Prepare for audits by gathering information for both property management and corporate
• Involved with preparing property taxes, sales and use, and other taxes as required
• Use online banking to arrange wire transfers for mortgage payments, distributions, and other payments
• Special projects and other tasks as needed

Requirements:

• Must have a bachelor’s in accounting, Business, Finance or related field.
• 1-3 years of experience
• Yardi a +
• Real Estate industry a must have
