Accountants One has been hired to help a long-time, growing central Atlanta based manufacturer hire a Corporate FP&A Analyst who has solid financial accounting experience and foundation. Reporting to the Director of Finance, the Corporate FP&A Analyst will play a key role in supporting the Manufacturing Accounting and Planning & Analysis functions while being highly visible to the Executive Management Team. This person will collaborate with Plant Controllers and Corporate team members for annual planning, financial/operational analysis, identifying & recommending profit enhancement opportunities, and tracking Plant & Operation performance. This is an
in-office role.
Requirements:
- BS/BA Degree Accounting or Finance
- CPA, CMA, and/or MBA
- 2+ years Budgeting & Financial Analysis
- 2+ years supervisory or project lead experience
- Collaborative; team oriented
- Self-starter; can work independently
- Advanced Excel skills
Responsibilities:
- Ownership of coordinating budgeting & forecasting for manufacturing plants & corporate operations.
- Provide reporting & analytical support to Executive Management
- Perform financial analysis of company monthly performance
- Track and analyze continuous improvement vs. annual operating plan
- Provide Capex ROI analysis
- Undertake analytical projects as determined by Executive Management
- Provide GL accounting close support
- 10-25% travel to collaborate with Plant Controllers
