Senior Accountant or Full-charge Bookkeeper

Senior Accountant - $65,000 - $70,000 – Underwood Hills Atlanta, GA – Temp to Hire – In-Office

Accountants One has been hired by longtime client to recruit a new Senior Accountant to add to their team. The ideal candidate will be comfortable with hands-on processing of everything from Accounts Payable through Month-End Close while working in office.

This company has been around for over 30 years and has a positive reputation in the construction industry.

Duties:

Prepare financial reports for managements review weekly and monthly
Process multiple account reconciliations daily
Maintain general ledger
Create journal entries
Submit sales tax returns
Complete full month-end and year-end close
Administer payroll and benefits
Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

Experience creating financial statements a must
Experience processing bank reconciliations, journal entries, payroll and benefits
Experience with AIA billing a plus
Experience using MS Dynamics SL or Solomon preferred
Full-cycle Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable experience
3+ years processing month and year end close
Inventory accounting or cost accounting experience a plus
