Financial Reporting Specialist

Financial Reporting Specialist needed by perimeter area company with over $2.5 billion in assets. This Financial Reporting Specialist will work with an experienced finance and accounting team as well as Senior Management. Responsibilities include:

Preparation of Quarterly and Annual consolidated financial statements
Managing Database of financial information needed to report to stakeholders
Coordinate with external auditors
Prepare presentations for the Board
Evaluate and research and implement new pronouncements from GASB and FASB for disclosure
Participate on Risk Management Audit Committee

Qualifications:

Bachelors in Accounting
5+ years of public accounting, technical accounting research and financial reporting experience
Utility industry experience a plus
CPA or MBA highly preferred
