Senior Financial Analyst
Senior Financial Analyst – Sandy Springs, GA - $95,000 - $130,000 + quarterly bonuses (In-Office w/mentorship to grow to Director)

Accountants One has been hired by a growing auto insurance company off Powers Ferry & I-285 to recruit a Senior Financial Analyst for their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career and have mentors in their department they can learn from who have great tenure with the organization.

Job Duties:
  • Build financial models to analyze growth, profitability for the core business
  • Be a key part of the team driving analysis to help leadership team execute on major initiatives and strategic decisions
  • Serve as strategic analytical business partner throughout the organization for multiple teams including Direct-to-Consumer (D2C), Sales and Products
  • Provide Accounting & Finance leadership team & Board with appropriate reporting to help establish goals and track performance across the business
  • Produce valuable innovative financial information and support analysis for strategic planning and decision-making including monthly forecast of P&L and cash flows
  • Lead and process a broad range of ad-hoc projects
    • Ad-hoc projects: increase revenue, reducing costs, and drive operational efficiencies
  • Coordinate performance analysis and forecasts, working with all programs to understand performance, variances, risks, and opportunities and effectively report information to Accounting/Finance Team leadership and executive leadership
  • Link financial results to operational performance drivers; create alternatives for positive change
  • Help with annual planning, routine forecasts and suggest process improvements
  • Plan and help implement ad hoc analysis to support decision making, evaluate business initiatives and evaluate performance
  • Understand stakeholder requirements to run the business
  • Lead the Accounting and Finance team and work with program leaders to complete the annual budget
  • Analyze financial and operational results to understand company performance
  • Analyze trends with financial metrics for revenue, expenditures, and profitability
  • Continually improve budgeting, financial projections and operating forecasts
  • Responsible for analyzing business trends, results and provide financial decision support
  • Responsible for using exceptional analytical skills to analyze business trends and results and provide financial decision support
  • Assist with finance integration activities, which may include cross-functional software solutions, and processes
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3+ years experience in P&C financial analysis or degree in Finance or Mathematics with some auto insurance experience included
  • Experience with advanced financial, data modeling and analysis techniques, and understanding of budgeting and forecasting processes
  • Experience building a team, coordinating and supervising team members
  • Manage multiple priorities for multiple managers and work independently
  • Advanced Excel skills a must
  • Great Plains experience or another ERP a plus
  • SQL a plus
  • Data visualization tools a plus
  • Open on industry experience
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with team regularly
  • Meet deadlines
  • Work in office which in turn will allow mentoring and career growth
