Staff Accountant – Sandy Springs, GA - $60,000 - $70,000 + 9-10% bonus (In-Office w/mentorship)

Accountants One has been hired by a growing auto insurance company off Powers Ferry & I-285 to recruit a Staff Accountant for their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who wants to grow their career and have mentors in their department they can learn from who have great tenure with the organization.

Job Duties:

• Prepare journal entries
• Reconcile multiple accounts
• Process Accounts Payable
• Take on special projects
• Research for accounting team
• Analyze Accounts
• Prepare various insurance exhibits
• Help senior accounting staff with treasury management
• Communicate with management regularly to help growth of organization

25% - Reconcile balance sheet accounts, research and analyze activities and resolve issues quickly
25% - Prepare journal entries and enter into GL
25% - Review, analyze and enter accounts payable transactions
10% - Treasury management activities
10% - Perform special projects as assigned
5% - Help with audits

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or related
• 1+ year experience
• Excel experience on the job
• Great Plains experience or other ERP a plus
• Strong interpersonal skills to communicate with management regularly
• Desire to truly grow within a company
• Meet deadlines
• Work in office which in turn will allow mentoring and career growth
