Accountants One is working with an International Manufacturing company in Atlanta looking for an Accounts Payable Supervisor. The company wants someone with solid work history and career progression. This opportunity is fantastic for someone looking to grow and work with a collaborative team. This role reports to the Senior Finance Manager and will gain strong visibility to crucial leadership. 

Accountants Payable Supervisor Responsibilities:

• Work with plants and other departments to ensure all invoices are entered accurately in SAP.
• Ensure constant good standing with all vendors while preventing fraud. 
• Assist with Monthly Accruals for Freight/In Transit and other more oversized expenditure items with payment terms outside of monthly benefit.
• Complete month-end closing responsibilities, including journal entries, preparation of account reconciliations, accruals, and other general accounting tasks related to AP. 
• Process and post outgoing intercompany activity. 
• Training and Development of direct reports to ensure all duties and responsibilities are completed by the deadline. This includes coaching meetings, annual goal setting, mid-year, and year-end reviews. 

Accounts Payable Supervisor Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
• SAP experience required.
• Concur experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate expert knowledge of AP.
• Good time management and communication skills. 
• Highly detail-oriented and organized. 
• Must have the ability to meet constant stream deadlines and ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
