Accountants One is working with a large privately-held company, which continues to grow year after year, looking for a Senior Accountant. The person previously in the role has been promoted into a Corporate Accounting position within the company. This role will specifically focus on M&A and other specific job duties. The place is a fantastic opportunity for someone who wants to gain hands-on experience and work with a great team.

The Senior Accountant will assist with the following:

• Involved in writing memos, policies, and procedures and reading through contracts. 
• Pulling financials from the systems of new companies they are acquiring for the month end. 
• Ensure the general ledger is balanced and reconciled correctly. 
• Will review entries to the ledger to assure accuracy. Works closely with the banks to ensure all deposits, withdrawals, and wire transfers.
• Handles account analysis and reconciliation and sets up new accounts.
• Reconciles daily cash flow to monthly bank statements and daily cash bank reports and analyzes 
• Assist with year-end audit.
• Will get full P&L exposure and analysis.
• Keeping up on new accounting standards and technical accounting research
• Involved in special projects

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s in Accounting is highly preferred or finance or business
• 2+ years of experience
• CPA or CPA tracking highly preferred
• Can come straight from public accounting tax or audit or industry
• Strong Excel skills and ERP Software
