Accountants One is working with a repeat client near 75/285 looking for a hands-on Controller responsible for financial reporting an accounting staff.  The ideal candidate would be an outgoing team lead with strong organizational skills.

Job Duties:

• Responsible for month-end close and producing financial statements
• Analyze the financials to help spot trends and answer for variances
• Oversee A/P, A/R, Collections and Payroll
• Account Reconciliations
• Multi- state sales tax and NEXUS compliance management
• Foreign Currency accounting
• GST/VAT reporting
• Reports and presentations

Job Requirements:

• Accounting degree, CPA preferred (does not have to be active)
• 7 + years of experience
• Manufacturing / Distribution experience
• Excel experience
• Big 4 experience preferred
• Sage experience preferred
• ERP implementation preferred
• In office 100% until trained and then hybrid 1 or 2 days at home a week.
