  • Business Planner: Understand and communicate the short- and long-term financial impact of the company’s strategic direction. Layout future financial road maps, including forecasting and economic modeling leading to setting priorities and leading initiatives. Be the resounding voice for the financial health of the company. Develop and communicate original ideas, push back on the ideas of others, challenge our current thinking. Actively engage in discussing and debating the best path forward.
  • Implementer: Push the organization forward with urgency in implementing its strategy. Clearly communicate strategy, behavioral changes, and performance expectations required to be successful. Hold individuals and teams accountable to change as our strategy requires. Make the tough call.
  • Financial Expert: Financial performance management including corporate-wide financial planning, analysis, budgeting/forecasting, project specific financial analysis and general risk analysis. This includes an ability “to rise above the numbers” with a critical review of key drivers, overages, shortfalls, etc., while instilling best processes that provide financial and operating data that leads to business optimization.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Provide clarity by taking the complex and making it simple. Be accountable for timely, accurate financial reporting, both written and oral, and other metrics that assist us in evaluating the effectiveness of past decisions and guiding our future direction. Aggressively monitor working capital levels and cash conversion cycle performance to reduce working capital invested in the business.
  • Connecting to Sales & Operations: Understand the sales & operations of the business in order to identify and lead changes in our overall strategy and ultimately improve the financial health of the firm.
  • Relationship Manager: Be the face of the company to our key partners in banking, bonding, insurance and your “peers” at our customers, suppliers, and other key partners. Proactively advocate for the Company and the level of service and terms required given our performance and direction.
